Morange!!!
Do almost everything with this nifty little java app. Morange does push email, push rss (their own concoction), PIM synchronization, remote desktop access. . . That’s a lot for a tiny 300kb app.

A free bittorrent client for S60v3 phones! Nice
Now its time to look for E61 optimized videos, hehe
SymTorrent, get it here.
In the past couple of days, I haven’t had much to blog about as regards the wonderful E61. I’m still playing SuperMiners and for the past couple of days I’ve been stuck in Level 36. Hopefully by tonight I’ll get over this hurdle.
Also, I’ve been loving what Daniel has done to his blog. Just in case you haven’t read his blog, head to e61life. One of the most up to date blogs especially in the software front. He has also made a couple of nice themes for the E61. My current favorite is his bright yellow HotSun theme. A port of Tribal, another beauty of a theme, is hopefully coming soon.

Another must have freeware is the Nokia Search app. You can pretty much search anything in your phone, from calendar entries to text messages to filenames. It’s a pretty nifty tool to have especially if you keep voluminous text messages and emails.

I found a solution to my sound problem
I just use smartmovie
the sound is perfect and it even speak french(my language)
they also have converter which work very well but a little slowI prefer using mencoder ( i’m from linux) and it is very fast these are my settings
mencoder gives.avi -ovc lavc -oac mp3lame -lameopts cbr:preset=192:mode=3 -lavcopts vbitrate=512 -vf scale=320:240 -ffourcc DIVX -o give512.avi
I hope you will do a new entry using this info so more people will know about this soft
S60v3FP1 (can they make this more acronym friendly???) please please please!
The new web browser and flash lite 2.0 (so we can watch youTube videos online) alone is worth it! I hope Nokia is listening to one of the 17 E-series blogs, but from what I’ve heard it will only be available in future phones. This sucks!
Listing of whats new in S60v3FP1.
I know, the big qwerty thumb-board makes T9 useless, but the absense of T9 exposes my really bad spelling. I just wish they had something like auto-complete or a spell check with those red squiggley lines at the bottom of the misspelled words . . .

I am officially addicted to Super Miners. I got the demo around a month ago and I didn’t really get why some people are raving about it. I picked it up once again the other day and i just couldn’t put it down. It spurred me to get the full version and I’m now at Level 19. My normally 4 to 5 day battery life has shrunk down to 30 hours because of this game.
A more thorough review of Super Miners at All About Symbian.
Richard Hodges sent me an email moments ago about a blog entry he wrote comparing QuickOffice, OfficeSuite and the E61’s built in word processor. Great work!
I’ve been having some Wi-Fi problems. I’ve noticed that whenever I get less than optimum singal strength (3 bars), the E61 browser just times out. This has really bothered me for sometime and for some reason, yesterday afternoon, I remembered someone posting a comment in my previous post about correctly handling the E61 that the Wi-Fi and bluetooth antenna are located at the bottom.
So I took off the silicone case and Wi-Fi signal strength was boosted. I was able to get Wi-Fi access in places where I had dismal signal strength.
