Just had one of those odd moments with my E61.
I was driving home last night and my E61 was plugged in to my car stereo (using the pioneer aux in cable, CD-RB10) listening to podcasts. I was quite happy with the quality of the output when all of a sudden I receive a text message that resulted in a little beep to let me know that a text message was received.
I don’t know if its a bug or whatever, but the bass of the audio was boosted, resulting in a much fuller sound that what I was originally listening to. I took out the connection, plugged it back in, and it went back to how it sounded before.
I tried sending myself a text message but no bass boost.
My E61 is going cuckoo.

I’ve experienced something similar on my e61. Whenever I skip a track or stop the current track, the next one seems to the lose the current equalizer setting.
I experienced the same thing yesterday night while driving, pausing and then resuming the play… solved the problem though but this doesnt happen everytime i receive text!
