Mobizines

Mark Tesch’s new E61 blog pointed me to Mobizines.

In a nutshell, Mobizines does to magazines what Widsets does to websites. Popular titles such as T3, GQ, Maxim, Planet F1, BBC News are collated and made available to mobile phone users.

Subscribing to Magazine titles is easy enough. Each title features 4 to 5 articles on average. What I really liked was that everytime I refreshed Mobizine, it informed me when it would be updated next. I haven’t been using this service for long, but I’ve been told that certain titles such as BBC is updated daily.

Here’s the list of all the magazine titles available.

sam: it’s be much easier if you use WIFI to update your magazines if you can’t use GPRS to do it. That’s what I do before leaving work and leave much of the reading at home:)

There is no subscription from Mobizines - the costs they mention are representing the operator data charges for receiving an update to an edition. If you are on a bundle - it’s all free
