Wi-Fi Problems?

I’ve been having some Wi-Fi problems.  I’ve noticed that whenever I get less than optimum singal strength (3 bars), the E61 browser just times out.  This has really bothered me for sometime and for some reason, yesterday afternoon, I remembered someone posting a comment in my previous post about correctly handling the E61 that the Wi-Fi and bluetooth antenna are located at the bottom.

So I took off the silicone case and Wi-Fi signal strength was boosted.  I was able to get Wi-Fi access in places where I had dismal signal strength.

I’ve noticed this also. In places with bad wifi reception the browser sometimes exits because of that. Very annoying.. :(
In my case, I don’t use a case (funny sentence..) but the trick of holding it like the manual says does work for me in some places where my phone has bad reception. :)

Out of curiosity, have you tried disabling Power Saving in the Tools/Settings/Connection/Wireless LAN/Options/Advanced Settings menu? It helps me connect to my Linksys router at home, it might also be somehow related to your problem.
