Freewares for your E61

Sanyci has a HUUUGE list of available freeware for the E61. Although the site is in Hungarian, it has enough pictures and links to easily understand the available software and what they’re all about.

Some interesting apps are the . . .

Solun Planetarium;

Satellite, a weather imaging program;

Bantumi GL, a collection of classic board games; and

Snakes, a 3-D render of Nokia’s classic game

Some well known freewares are also in the list — Bemused, the winamp/powerpoint bluetooth controller; Ebook apps QReader and MobiPocket Reader; Opera Mini for Web Browsing; an Ogg vorbis player for the S60; a stopwatch app; screen capture programs Screenshot and Screensnap; Xedious, an arcade game using a font with striking resemblance to the one used in the movie Xanadu; Internet Radio; Google Maps; alternative programs to File Manager SExplorer, Y-Browser and SysExplorer; AutoLock and mLock; Flashlite app SpotOn; Calcium, the much much better calculator for the E61 which has a new version recently available in their website; Widsets beta;Metro, the subway schedule database; Sudoku; QuickOffice; Still Image Editor; Nokia’s Life Blog, Mobile Search, Podcasting and ZipManager; WorldMate; Golf Pro, Adobe Reader; Nokia’s Blackberry Connect and Business Software; and Active Synch for Exchange.

Sanyci does a much better job at presenting all these programs with beautiful screenshots. And I’m always happy when I get things for free.
